Next Columbia Economics Club Meeting: March 2, 2011

Jodi's topic will be:

"Behavioral Economics and the Creation of Value"

Jodi Beggs is best described as a freelance economist. She has taught economics at both the undergraduate and graduate level, is an editor for an online learning company, and writes about economics on her web site "Economists Do It With Models" and for various other publications. Her overall goal is to make economics an interesting and accessible topic of discussion both in the classroom and in the media, since it is her view that understanding basic economics is crucial to running an effective household, being a smart voter, and generally not sucking at life. Jodi has a Master's degree in Economics from Harvard University.
